Describe who you want to reach with plain English. Schmooze finds matching profiles and composes personalized cold outreach based on similarities. Users have landed interviews and jobs through it!
College nights in real time. See where friends are going, what's worth stopping by, and the best ways to have fun any time on any day. Launched at Georgetown, scaled to 1.5k users and partnered with 80% of student orgs. Wound down in Dec 2025.
After a year at college, maintaining older friendships became increasingly difficult. It was hard to keep up with friends' lives, so it was even harder to reach out. peekd gave you a reason to by giving you daily glimpses of what your friends were up to. Scaled to ~300 people in a month and a half (friends & friends of friends) before we shut it down.
One of the first high-school CTFs in the country. Started as a problem writer freshman year, then rebuilt our competition platform in Rust, Kubernetes, Next.js as a sophomore. Learned how to cold-email and also raised $3k+ in sponsorships from Google, Trail of Bits, Binary Ninja, and DigitalOcean. Arguably my most formative experience.
My high school had a dismissal logistics issue. Every day 50 buses would pull into our lot to shuttle kids back home. We brought a spreadsheet into the modern age with live bus locations, push notifications, and a fancy app which quickly spread throughout the school.
Logistics weren't my high school's strong suit. When teachers were absent, students had to walk back and forth across the entire school to find where to sign in for attendance. Built an app to alert students about absences and sign-in spots. Grew to 1,200 users before we graduated and was a fitting way to close out my senior year.
My first launch: a stock market simulation that took over my school's Discord during COVID. At its peak, we had a few hundred people trading every day. With some terrible engineering, a JSON file as a database, and my computer powering the bot around the clock, I managed to get a bunch of 15-year-olds hooked to a terribly designed digital economy. Lots of fun!
